Digital Product Designer

Our digital product designers create clear, production-ready interfaces that help your engineers move faster. They focus on designing critical features that help move the bottom line - and fill in the gaps in your overall user experience.

By being embedded in your team, they know what is happening within the company, and use this information to make meaningful design changes. Designers are stricly NDA-bound.

Design Engineer

Bridge the gap between design and code. Our design engineers work across design and development. They bring the skills to bridge design work to engineering.

Remote-first

We have a remote-first approach. But that doesn't mean we don't encourage meeting each other in real life and meeting for strategic initiatives.

We value off-sites, strategic workshops and knowledge sharing. But for day to day work, we love the efficiency of remote work.

Embedded in your team

The designer or design engineer joins your communication channels, typically Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Contract length

Contracts run 3, 6 or 9 months and are renewable — scale up or down as needed.

Design is sometimes cyclical. You don't always need the same design capacity over time. This is a risk-free way to add a member to your team.

Smart AI usage

Our designers work with AI agents as part of their day-to-day practice: prototyping in code, generating and reviewing UI, and setting up the context agents need to make sound design decisions on your product.

We smartly combine modern design tools with code generation and custom-built tools to get to the best results.

Team support

A unique aspect to Obra is that embedded designers can ask for feedback to other designers, and share workflows within the team. You are not just hiring a single designer, but the knowledge of an entire team. Designers are not only on your Slack, but also on ours.
