Design engineer — Pro Blocks

We sell Obra shadcn/ui Pro, a Figma kit for shadcn/ui with a matching React implementation. Its Pro Blocks are ready-made site sections and components across three categories — Marketing, Application and E-commerce — and we want to grow that library.

The work

• In a first phase, implement new Pro Blocks in React, using shadcn/ui, from designs we define in Figma. For later collaboration, we're interested in designing blocks straight in the browser.
• Write to a high standard of code quality — idiomatic React, and Tailwind v4 conventions followed throughout. Each block should be clean enough to be copy-pasted into someone else's project and understood immediately.
• Keep the React and Figma versions in sync — same structure, same naming, same variants
• Work within the kit's existing theming variables rather than around them

Your profile

• Based in LATAM — the work is remote, but we want overlapping hours
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript and shadcn/ui
• Real taste for interface detail — Pro Blocks are a paid product, and people judge them on how they look and how they read
• A modern development workflow — comfortable mixing AI-assisted tooling with hands-on fundamentals
• Comfortable reading a Figma file as a source of truth and knowledge of Figma MCP workflows
• Spanish speaking — working-level English for day-to-day communication
