Redesigning Ziptility's design system and cross-platform app
Ziptility provides operations and asset management software for small utility teams. We partnered with Ziptility to redesign their web app, cross-platform mobile app, and establish a design system to support their growing product.
Our work spanned the full product surface: the web app, the iOS and Android app, and a design system to keep everything consistent as the product evolved. We worked closely with the Ziptility team to understand the day-to-day workflows of utility operators and translate those into interfaces that are fast and easy to use in the field.
Mobile app
Field teams rely on the mobile app to manage assets and log work on site, often under pressure. We redesigned the core flows for speed and clarity on small screens.

Web app
On the desktop, the focus shifted to managing assets and operations across a whole utility. The map carries most of that weight — a utility's entire network, asset by asset — with denser views for work orders and inventory behind it.

Visualizing complex flows
Much of Ziptility's work happens across two devices: a job is planned in the office and carried out in the field, or logged on a phone and picked up later at a desk. To design those flows we used Bedrock, our agentic collaborative design platform, which turns written specifications into clickable wireflows — every screen laid out at the device size it is meant for. That made the handoff from mobile to desktop something the whole team could see and click through, alongside the longer workflows behind work orders and asset management.
It ran in both directions. The Ziptility team brought deep domain expertise to those reviews, and the demands of the project — specifications that had to sit alongside an overall view of the product design — shaped how Bedrock itself developed.
